Ankit Tiwari is an Indian singer and music composer who started his career in 2011. His first song was from the movie Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster in which he sang and composed the song ‘Saheb Bada Hatila’. Although the song did ‘t get much recognition. He picked up the pace in his music career with the song ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ from the movie Aashiqui 2. For this song, Tiwari received the nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Playback singer (Male). He received Filmfare award for Best Music Director along with Mithoon and Jeet Gannguli for the movie Aashiqui.
This emerging singer was also nominated by IIFA and Star Guild Awards and got Mirchi’s ‘Upcoming Male Vocalist of the year’. He bagged various prizes in the category of music director. In 2014 Tiwari sang eleven songs by collaborating with different directors. Ankit also sang a song with Shreya Ghoshal who earlier worked with him for the duet of ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ female version.
